Kari Jensen is an associate attorney at the Chapman Law Firm.  Her practice is mainly in the areas of criminal defense and civil litigation.

Born and raised on a farm outside Westby, Montana, Kari attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, graduating with degrees in English and Education.  After graduation, Kari taught secondary English and French in Crosby for two years and then in Culbertson, Montana, for the next 26 years.

Kari graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2015.  During law school, she interned for a summer at the Sheridan County Attorney’s Office in Plentywood.  Her clinical placement was at the Missoula County Attorney’s Office, where she managed a misdemeanor caseload and conducted two jury trials.  In her free time during law school, Kari volunteered at the Missoula Family Law Self-Help Center and was an active member of the Women’s Law Caucus.  Kari L. Jensen is admitted to practice in North Dakota and Montana State Courts and in Montana Federal Court.

When not in the office, Kari enjoys perfecting her culinary skills, flower gardening, motorcycling, and DIY remodeling and craft projects.
